East Coweta Middle School band director, Craig Owens, was nominated to be "Kippered" for his outstanding service and mentorship to many aspiring musicians. A donation was made in his honor to the East Coweta Middle band program. Way to make a difference Mr. Owens!
Mr. Owens was son's band director and also my former coworker. He goes above and beyond to make the best band program for his students. He is not just a teacher. He is also a mentor and an inspiring innovator. Thank you for recognizing this fine man. I cannot think of anyone who deserves this honor more.
